Abstract:
PURPOSE: To change the duty ratio of the control pulse of a switching element according to an output current value, to average a current peak value, and to reduce a switching loss.
CONSTITUTION: A power factor improving and rectifying circuit is equipped with a bridge rectifying circuit D0, and a smoothing capacitor C0, a coil L0, and a switch element Q0 are serially connected between the output terminals of the bridge rectifying circuit D0. Then, a voltage between the output terminals is divided by resistors R1 and R2, and ripple components are extracted by a capacitor C1, and feedback-processed to a control circuit IC1 which pulse-controls a switching element Q0.
