To provide a micro power supply element for a USN sensor node that is inexpensive and mountable to a USN sensor node, while stably feeding power supply in a USN system.
The power supply element is provided with a solar cell having private power generation function, a secondary battery for feeding electricity to the ubiquitous-sensor network sensor node, while storing the electricity generated by the solar cell, and an interface circuit for coupling the solar cell with the secondary battery. The solar cell, the secondary battery, and interface circuit are mounted to the sensor node. As a result of this, it is possible to continuously and stably feed low-current electricity required by the sensor node constituting a ubiquitous sensor network, while continually storing the electricity generated by the solar cell into the secondary battery.
