Title:
POWER SOURCE INLET DEVICE FOR ELECTRIC EQUIPMENT
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JPH08241773
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:

PURPOSE: To use a common chassis when an electric equipment is a one capable of selectively using a plurality of voltages, as the voltage of its AC power source, or a one using a single voltage, and prevent an inlet terminal from being wastefully set.

CONSTITUTION: A chassis 1 has a base 10 on which inlet terminals 8, 9 every different voltage can be mounted; a shielding plate 3 capable of sliding which prevents the terminal 9 excluding one selected terminal 8 from being exposed to the outside of the chassis 1; and a groove 11 orthogonal to the moving direction of the shielding plate 3. In the case of a single voltage power source, the terminal 9 is not mounted, a stopper piece is nipped between the base 10 and the groove 11m and fixed to the chassis 1 to arrest the movement of the shielding plate 3 by the stopper piece. In this state, the inlet terminal 8 is exposed to the outside of the chassis 1.
