Abstract:

PURPOSE: To suppress the generation of harmonic waves and to improve the power factor by connecting first and second capacitors connected in series in parallel with a smoothing capacitor, connecting a resistor from the connecting point of the first and second capacitors to a power source, and specifying the values.
CONSTITUTION: Capacitors C1, C2 are provided in parallel with a smoothing capacitor C0, and the intermediate point of the diodes D2, D4 of a diode bridge is connected to the intermediate point of the capacitors C1, C2 via a resistor R. When the power consumption maximum value of a load side is Pmax, the power frequency of an AC power source is f and the effective value of the power voltage of the AC power source is Vin, the electrostatic capacities C1, C2 of the first and second capacitors are selected to 0.5×Pmax/(2×f×Vin2) to 1.5×Pmax/(2×f×Fin2) or preferably Pmax/(2×f×Vin2), and the value of the resistor R is selected to 0.0001/Cl to 0.001/C2 or 0.0001/C2 to 0.001/C2 or preferably 0.0001/C1 to 0.0004/C1 or 0.0001/C2 to 0.0004/C2.
