Abstract:
To provide a device for preventing a secondary disaster at an earthquake disaster by shutting off a power source switch automatically or closing the main cock of gas when a strong earthquake is sensed.
A weight 1 connected to the lever of a power source switch or the main cock 10 of gas by a string 6 is mounted on the upper portion of a small diameter pipe 2 erecting provided. When the weight 1 falls down by the vibration of an earthquake, the lever of the power source switch is pulled down or the main cock 10 of the gas is closed, and simultaneously a battery separation plate 7 separating the dry batteries in a flashlight 4 provided with is extracted so as to turn on the flashlight 4.
