Abstract:
PURPOSE:To reduce the cost and power consumption and to make the liquid crystal display device thin and lightweight by eliminating the need for a special operational amplifier for a high voltage even when a liquid crystal display element is increased in size. CONSTITUTION:The liquid crystal driving power source which applies voltages V1-V6 to the liquid crystal display element through operational amplifiers 22-25 by utilizing the voltage difference between a 1st voltage VDD and a 2nd voltage DEE is provided with a voltage supply means for the operational amplifiers which consists of resistances 33 and 34, transistors 35 and 36, and diodes 37 and 38 and supplies voltages lower than the voltage difference between the VDD and VEE as source voltages to the operational amplifiers 22-25.
