Abstract:
To provide a power source system capable of making determination about the degradation of a lead battery used for supplying an electric power to an electrical load of a vehicle with good accuracy.SOLUTION: A power source system comprises: a lead battery for supplying an electric power to an electrical load of a vehicle; a battery sensor unit for acquiring values about the state of the lead battery; and an ECU for making determination about the degradation of the lead battery based on the values acquired by the battery sensor unit. The battery sensor unit acquires the value of a temperature of the lead battery and the value of SOC of the lead battery. The ECU makes determination about the degradation owing to sulfation degradation of the lead battery based on the temperature value acquired by the battery sensor unit and SOC.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 8
