Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a power storage device capable of cutting off an electrification path even if either internal short-circuiting or external short-circuiting occurs.SOLUTION: In a secondary battery 10, a negative electrode conductive member 60 connected with a negative electrode terminal 16 comprises a negative electrode first joint part 61 which is joined with a negative electrode tab 32, and a negative electrode second joint part 62 which is electrically connected with the negative electrode terminal 16. A current cutoff structure comprises a negative electrode weld portion P which conducts the negative electrode terminal 16 and the negative electrode second joint part 62, and a thin part 84a which is provided around the negative electrode weld portion P and broken when exceeding a preset pressure. When a junction area of the negative electrode first joint part 61 and the negative electrode tab 32 is defined as "S1", an area of the thin part 84a is defined as "S2" and a maximum area of the thin part 84a in which the thin part 84a can be broken by the preset pressure is defined as "S3", a relational expression "S3≥S2>S1" is satisfied.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 6
