Upon coupling to a vehicle 10 via a charging cable 72, a charging stand unit 60 can perform PLC communication using the charging cable 72, and can obtain portable key information D30 necessary for communication with a portable remote control key 30 from a body ECU 20 by using the PLC communication. On the other hand, a key retrieval unit 50 is removably coupled to the charging stand unit 60. Upon coupling to the charging stand unit 60, the key retrieval unit 50 receives the portable key information D30 from the charging stand unit 60 by using UART communication, and can perform retrieval processing for retrieving whether the portable remote control key 30 exists in a radio communication range 59 of the key retrieval unit 50 by using the portable key information D30.
