Title:
POWER SUPPLY CIRCUIT
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JPH07284274
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:
PURPOSE: To prevent the operation of a power supply circuit, when the first switching element is shorted by a failure. CONSTITUTION: This power supply circuit has a rectifying means 1, having an AC voltage input terminal 3 and an output terminal 5, which generates the pulsating DC voltage, an inverter 9 having a first capacitor 7 connected to the output terminal and an input terminal 11 connected to the capacitor 7 and a current limiting circuit, which is connected between the output terminal and the first capacitor and restricts the inflow current generated, when the power supply circuit is turned on. The first switching element is operated, so that the element is under the nonconducting state when the power supply circuit is turned on and switched to the conducting state, after a predetermined time. A detecting means 20 for the states is provided and operated together with a starting circuit 21 for generating the starting signal for an inverter. Only when the fact that the first switching element is in the nonconducting state is detected, does the starting circuit generate the starting signal.
