Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a technique that detects a foreign matter independent of a change in a load on an object electronic apparatus supplied power by radio and thereby controls power supply so as not to have an impact on the foreign matter.SOLUTION: A power supply device for supplying power to an electronic apparatus by radio includes: a communication unit for transmitting power and transmitting and receiving information in a non-contact manner; a detection unit for detecting intrusion of an object into a communication range of the communication unit; an acquisition unit for acquiring information representing the size of the electronic apparatus from the electronic apparatus via the communication unit; a determination unit for determining a detection range of intrusion of the object by the detection unit on the basis of the acquired information; and a control unit for supplying power to the electronic apparatus via the communication unit. The control unit controls power supply to the electronic apparatus on the basis of detection of intrusion of the object in the detection range of the detection unit during power supply to the electronic apparatus.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
