Abstract:
To provide a power supply device and a disconnection detection method that can reliably perform backup control by a second power supply when a power failure occurs in a first system.SOLUTION: A power supply device includes a first system, a second system, an inter-system switch, a current supply portion, and a disconnection detection portion. The first system supplies the power of a first power supply to a load. The second system supplies the power of a second power supply to the load. The inter-system switch is capable of connecting and disconnecting the connection path that connects the first system and the second system. The current supply portion constantly feeds a current through a specific path between a connection point between the connection path and the second system and the second power supply. The disconnection detection portion detects disconnection of the specific path according to the presence or absence of a current flowing through the specific path.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
