Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an abnormality detection method for a power supply system of a power generating means equipped with a chemical reaction part detecting an abnormality like an adiabatic breakage of a vacuum heat insulation structure at the chemical reaction part.
SOLUTION: On a fuel cell system 20 as a power supply system using a fuel cell 27, when the operation of the fuel cell 27 is started, and an appropriate power volume is supplied to thin film heaters 24a, 25a, 26a during the passage of prescribed starting time from the starting, a power generation control part 22 judges whether temperatures of a vaporizer 24, a reformer 25, and a CO removing device 26 exceed a set temperature or not. After the passage of prescribed starting time, when an appropriate power volume is supplied to the thin film heaters 24a, 25a, 26a, and the temperatures of the vaporizer 24, the reformer 25, and the CO removing device 26 are not reaching the prescribed temperature, the power generation control part 22 judges that the abnormality like a vacuum adiabatic breakage is generated at the chemical reaction part 29, and makes an informing part 33 inform that the generation of vacuum adiabatic breakage is highly possible.
