A power supply system comprises a plug and an outlet. The plug includes: a tap blade for receiving electric power; and a bar code including code information. The outlet includes: an input part for inputting supplied power; a tap blade receiving part for supplying input power to the plug of the electrical equipment; a bar code reading part for emitting read light to the bar code of the plug and receiving reflection light from the bar code to read code information of the bar code; and a power supply control part for controlling output to the tap blade receiving part based on a read result of the bar code reading part. The power supply control part includes: a voltage conversion part for converting a supply voltage of the input power into a request voltage, when the code information read by the bar code reading part includes the request voltage of power used by the electric device; and a power output part for outputting power with the converted supply voltage from the tap blade receiving part.
