To provide a power supply in which a resonance state can be established by increasing an exciting current flowing through the excitation susceptance of a transformer while suppressing increase in iron loss of the transformer.
The power supply comprises a stray capacitance (ground capacitance C0 of an induction electrode 20) between the induction electrode 20 disposed near an overhead power line 100 and the earth 300, a transformer 1 connected in parallel with the ground capacitance C0 of the induction electrode 20 and outputs a secondary voltage by stepping down a primary voltage, and an output section 50 led out from both ends on the secondary of the transformer 1. The core 2 of the transformer 1 has a gap 2a, and power is supplied from the output section 50 to a load 200 by using the parallel circuit of the ground capacitance C0 of the induction electrode 20 and the excitation susceptance b0 of the transformer 1 as a parallel resonance circuit.
