PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable a fixed type power cord and a socket to be replaced accord ing to the purpose of the user.
SOLUTION: In the power tool, power is supplied externally through a power cord. At the housing 12 of the power tool, a cord guard fixing part 12b is formed, whereto a cord guard for the fixed type power cord can be attached, and also a socket 32 to admit removable mounting of a removable power cord 61 can be attached. The power tool is structured so that the cord guard for the fixed type power cord may be attached to the cord guard fixing part 12b and also the socket 32 can be attached.
