To provide a drilling tool having a dust collection mechanism which can minimize a product without reducing a dust collection capacity and hold a firm dust collection case.

The drilling tool has a front edge tool, a motor, a rotation transmission mechanism which transmits the rotational power of the motor to the front edge tool, and the dust collection case for storing dust generated by drilling on the rotational movement of the front edge tool. The dust collection case is attachable/detachable to/from the drilling tool and has at least two holding parts which hold the drilling tool and the dust collection case. The holding parts are installed approximately on the diagonals of the dust collection case.
