To provide a power transformer for an offshore container, which is easily mounted on a refrigerating device and prevented from corrosion.
A power transformer 10 as a heavy load is mounted on the refrigerating device for the offshore container. The power transformer 10 comprises a main body 1, a spacer mounting member 2, and spacers 31, 32. A bottom surface of the space mounting member 2 has flat parts 21, 22 for mounting the spaces 3 at parts projecting from the main body 1. The spacers 31, 32 are mounted on the flat part 21, and support the main body 1. As a clearance is formed between the ground surface and the main body 1 (spacer mounting member 2), a claw of a conveying/mounting device is easily inserted into the clearance, and the power transformer 10 is easily mounted on the refrigerating device for the offshore container. As a loading position of the power transformer 10 is elevated by the spacers 31, 32, an area kept into contact with the seawater is reduced, and the corrosion by seawater is reduced.
