Abstract:
To provide a power transmission apparatus that comprises a plurality of power transmission coils for radio power transmission and enables control to detect an object during a stop period of radio power transmission that a power reception apparatus requests.SOLUTION: A power transmission apparatus 101 comprises a plurality of power transmission coils 207, and performs wireless power transmission to a power reception apparatus 102. The power transmission apparatus 101 uses a power transmission coil 207 to detect an object. When the detected object is the power reception device 102, the power transmission apparatus 101 stores identification information on the power transmission coil 207 used to detect the object. The power transmission apparatus 101, once receiving a stop request for wireless power transmission from the power reception apparatus 102 (S601), uses the power transmission coil 207 corresponding to the stored identification information to detect the object during a stop period of the wireless power transmission (S604).SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 7
