To provide a power transmission device or the like capable of compensating for a change in transmission efficiency due to a change in a positional relationship between coils for wireless power transmission facing each other.SOLUTION: A transmission coil TC for non-contact power transmission includes a power transmission open coil TO including each of two coils wound multiple times, a power transmission loop coil TL that is supplied with power to be transmitted and is laminated with the power transmission open coil, and further includes a detection unit DT that detects the transmission efficiency as a power transmission coil, and a capacitance control unit that optimizes the resonance frequency as the transmission coil TC on the basis of the detected transmission efficiency.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
