Abstract:
To inhibit diffusion of abrasion powder generated to inhibit harmful effect on peripheral devices in a power transmission device and an electric power steering device.SOLUTION: A power transmission device includes: a housing 31 forming a hallow shape; a driving pulley 19 rotatably supported at an interior of the housing 31; a driven pulley 20 rotatably supported at the interior of the housing 31; an endless timing belt 21 wound between the driving pulley 19 and the driven pulley 20; and foreign object recovery members 36, 37 having foreign object recovery plates 41 which are disposed spaced a predetermined distance apart from each other in an axis O1 direction of the driving pulley 19 and the driven pulley 20 on the outer periphery side of the driving pulley 19 and the driven pulley 20 at the interior of the housing 31.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 4
