Abstract:
To achieve a reduction in noise and size in a power transmission chain transmitting a power with a pulley by frictionally engaging each of the pair of end faces of power transmission members for link connection.
A contact area 20 for bringing the end face 5 of a first pin 3 with the corresponding sheave surface of each pulley is formed on the end face 5 of the first pin for connecting a plurality of links to each other. The center position 20a (centroid) of the contact area 20 is disposed at the rear of the center position 5a (centroid) of the end face 5 in the chain advancing direction X.
