Abstract:
To solve the problem in which when a clutch is turned on after a motor is started, the backlash of gears disappears, resulting in generation of meshing sound when teeth of the gears mesh with each other.SOLUTION: A power transmission device comprises: a drive source; a power transmission switching unit that can switch between a transmission state in which power of the drive source is transmitted to a driven part and a non-transmission state in which power of the drive source is not transmitted to the driven part; a load switching unit that can switch between a first load state which is a load when driving the driven part, and a second load state in which the load is smaller than the first load state; a control unit that controls the drive source, the power transmission switching unit, and the load switching unit, wherein the control unit switches the power transmission switching unit from the non-transmission state to the transmission state when the load is in the second load state, and then switches the load from the second load state to the first load state by the load switching unit.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
