Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To establish a forward driving system and a backward driving system without a hitch when driving force from a power unit is inputted into the input shaft of a forward/backward driving change-over mechanism. SOLUTION: An auxiliary transmission Ts equipped with a forward/backward change-over mechanism C and a differential gear D is equipped with an input shaft 45 to which the driving force of forward rotation is transmitted from a power unit diverted from a motorcycle by way of an endless chain 29. When a sleeve 77 is driven to the right direction, the forward rotation of the input shaft 45 is transmitted to the final driven gear 59 of the differential gear D as a forward rotation by way of three forward gears 51, 53 and 54, a forward gear shifting step is thereby established. When the sleeve 77 is driven to the left direction, the forward rotation of the input shaft 45 is transmitted to the final driven gear 59 as backward rotation by way of a reverse gear 52, a backward gear shifting step is thereby established.
