This power transmission device includes: a drive side rotating member rotated on receiving the rotary driving force from a driving source; a driven side rotating member connected to a rotating shaft of a driven side device; and a power transmitting member for transmitting the rotation of the drive side rotating member to the driven side rotating member. The power transmitting part is composed of a cylindrical spring member, one end of which is connected to the driven side rotating member, the other end being connected to the drive side rotating member, and which is deformed in the radial direction by the rotary driving force of the drive side rotating member, and the elastic member disposed in the deforming direction of the spring member.
