Abstract:
To suppress the generation of a radiation sound resulting from vibration applied to a ring gear by the engagement rotation of a pinion when the ring gear of a planetary gear device is non-rotatably held, and power is transmitted between an engine and a rotating machine via remaining rotating elements of the planetary gear device.SOLUTION: Since a ring gear member 30 is spline-fit to partitioning walls 76, 82, a ring gear 24r is non-rotatably held, and power is transmitted between an engine 16 and a first motor generator MG1 via a sun gear 24s and a carrier 24c. The backlash b1 of a spline-fitting part 90 at the partitioning wall 76 side is larger than the backlash b2 of a spline-fit part 92 at the partitioning wall 82 side, and since a ring gear member 30 is non-rotatably held at the partitioning wall 82 side at which vibration transmission sensitivity is low in an initial stage of a start of use, the generation of a radiation sound resulting from vibration which is applied to the ring gear member 30 by the engagement rotation of a pinion 24p can be suppressed.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
