Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a power transmission device in which a ring is hardly released even if sloshing occurs, and countermeasures are applied to suppress increase in manufacturing costs and increase in load for a driving device caused by increase in weight of a chain.SOLUTION: A chain 8 is disposed between a pair of link plates 81 opposed to each other at an interval, and includes a barrel portion 82 connecting the pair of link plates 81, a boss portion 83 projecting to a side opposite to the side of the pair of link plates 81 opposed to each other, and a stay 86 disposed in a circumferential direction of the chain 8 at an interval to the boss portion 83, and having an extension portion extended to an opposite side from the pair of link plates 81. A sprocket 5 has an engagement tooth 521 projecting to a radiating direction of the sprocket 5 at a central part in a thickness direction of the sprocket 5 ane engaged with the barrel portion 82, and an inhibitor tooth 531 projecting to the radiating direction while avoiding the barrel portion 82 and the extension portion at an outer side in the thickness direction with respect to the link plate 81, in a state that the engagement tooth 521 is engaged with the barrel portion 82.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 8
