Abstract:
To provide a pre-filled syringe that excels in oxygen barrier, water vapor barrier, moldability, strength and shape retention, reduces leaching from the container, and ensures favorable visibility of the contents in the container after storage.SOLUTION: A pre-filled syringe can accommodate a drug in a sealed state and, when in use, can unseal the drug to dispense it. The pre-filled syringe has a multilayer structure consisting of at least three layers: a layer A including a polyester compound (a) and a transition metal catalyst and layers B including a polyolefin (b), with the layers B laminated on both sides of the layer A. The polyester compound (a) includes specific constitutional units represented by formulae (1)-(3). Of the total 100 mol% of these constitutional units, the constitutional unit of formula (1) represents 30-55 mol%, the constitutional unit of formula (2) represents 15-40 mol%, and the constitutional unit of formula (3) represents 20-40 mol%.SELECTED DRAWING: None
