To enable a flow speed distribution to be uniformly attained at an outlet of a pre-mixing device with a short length of the pre-mixing device by a method wherein either a porous plate or a grid plate is installed inside a straight pipe.
Air 7 flows through a flowing-in section 8 formed by an outer cylinder 1, an inner cylinder 2 and a partition plate 3, through a bent pipe section 9 and a straight pipe section 10, passes through an outlet 11 of a pre- mixing device and flows into a combustion chamber 12. Fuel 13 passes from a fuel reservoir 14 through a fuel nozzle 6 and is mixed with air 7 in the bent pipe section 9. In this case, an eccentric flow generated at the bent section 9 is regulated by a porous plate 14 installed at a downstream side of the bent section 9 and then a flow speed distribution at an inlet port of the combustion device can be made uniform with a length of the short pre-mixing device. Due to this fact, it is possible to restrict a blowing-off flying of the flame or back- fire, and to restrict combustion vibration by changing a length of the pre-mixing device.
