PURPOSE:To compact the size of products and reduce the cost, by installing a gas discharge outlet and an air discharge outlet, which covers said gas discharge outlet, on the upper side of a burner plate and providing both gas and air supply means on the lower side of said burner plate through a large number of ports penetrated slantingly upward and downward. CONSTITUTION:A burner plate 1 is provided with gas passages 12 and air passages 15, which are formed by a large number of holes penetrated slantingly upward and downward. On an upper surface 9 of the burner plate 1 are uniformly laid out gas discharge outlets 11 for the gas passages 12 and air discharge outlets 14 for ventilation passages 15 in such a manner that the air discharge outlets 14 may surround the gas discharge outlets 11. On the other hand, on an lower surface 8 of the burner plate 1 are laid out separately gas discharge inlets 10 in the gas passages 12 and air inlets 13 in the air passages 15 in both directions. The fuel gas and air are introduced into a gas intake hole 4 and an air intake hole 5 respectively and flow uniformly into a large number of gas inlets 10 and air inlets 13, which are opened on the lower surface 8 of the burner plate 1 in a gas distribution chamber 6 and an air distribution chamber 7.
