PURPOSE: To achieve stabilization of pre-stroke control by providing a mass body which is positioned on the opposed side to a control sleeve on a control rod, and providing on this mass body, a moving regulation means which restricts the movement of the mass body in the direction same as that of sliding.
CONSTITUTION: A control sleeve 3 is slidably fitted in the plunger 2 of a fuel injection pump. The control sleeve 3 is actuated by a control rod 4. A mass body 21 which is positioned on the opposed side to the control sleeve 3 is provided in the control rod 4. For the sake of the mass body 21, a moving regulation means 22 which controls the movement of the mass body 21 is provided. When exciting force is applied to the control sleeve 3, the mass body 21 acts as a counter weight through the control rod 4, to eliminate the force. Consequently, the exciting force caused by engine vibration and the like can be effectively eliminated so as to achieve stabilization of a pre-stroke control.
