To obtain a pre-twisted bulky processed yarn reduced in the generation of fuzzes during a false-twisting process and hardly generating fibrils without deteriorating gloss, drape, touch, etc., by preliminarily twisting Lyocell (R) multifilaments in the same direction as that of the false twisting and subsequently false-twisting the twisted yarn.

Lyocell (R) multifilaments are preliminarily twisted (preferably in a twisting coefficient of 1,000-6,000) in the same direction as that of a false- twisting, and subsequently subjected to the false-twisting treatment. The number of the false twists is reduced only by the number of the pre-twists, and the false-twisting temperature and the feeding rate are usually 110-250 and 1-2%, respectively. The twisted yarn has a single filament fineness of 1-3 denier and a total fineness of 50-150 denier. The method for the false-twisting treatment is especially not limited.
