Title:
PREAMBLE SIGNAL GENERATOR AND UNIQUE WORD DETECTION CIRCUIT
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP3228255
Kind Code:
B2
Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a preamble signal generator and a unique word detection circuit capable of improving the accuracy of detecting unique words while suppressing power consumption.
SOLUTION: A correlation operation processor 1 detects a leading PN code block out of a received data signal A. A PN detector 5 detects a PN code block in the received data signal A. When a PN code block can not be detected, the detector 5 outputs a signal indicating no detection to an error detector 7. A UW detector 6 detects a unique word in the signal A. When a unique word can not be detected, the detector 6 outputs a signal indicating no detection to the detector 7. The detector 7 outputs a detection stop signal D based on those inputted signals. Thereby a clock signal G is outputted to a gate circuit 9 only for a period of normal detection of signals constituting the received data signal A from the detection of the leading PN code block by the processor 1 to drive respective parts.
