Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To objectively evaluate the raw material value of precious metal scraps by realizing sand-like powder of the uniform grade of precious metal scraps, and to reliably prevent a refining equipment from being adversely affected during the treatment by quantitatively grasping a composition of impurities, and adjusting the charging quantity. SOLUTION: A treatment device bakes the precious metal scraps by a pre- treatment furnace 11 in a step before refining the precious metal scraps together with copper, and generates sand-like powder 2 in which combustibles are completely ashed from the precious metal scraps. A combustion mechanism A for burning the combustibles in the precious metal scraps is provided. The combustion mechanism A comprises a fuel source 12, a burner unit 13 connected to the fuel source 12, and a feed unit 14 for feeding the fuel from the fuel source 12 to the burner unit 13. A rotating and mixing mechanism for rotating and mixing the precious metal scraps in the pre-treatment furnace 11 is provided, and the rotating and mixing mechanism comprises a rotating mechanism and a mixing mechanism.
