Abstract:
To provide a predicting system for a road traffic state, an on-vehicle navigation system, and a predicting method for a road state, having high reliability without greatly increasing the data amount.
Data related to a congestion state of vehicles in each section is obtained to grasp the congestion state of a road for each specified time the road congestion states are stored over at least several days, a pattern close to the congestion state for each specified time in each section stored in a short period is extracted and a congestion state after the present time is predicted from the data.
