Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To control drive of the driver with a control signal fed from a microprocessor via a single input output pin and to monitor a load state driven by the driver. SOLUTION: The pre-driver circuit 10 is provided with a level shifter 20 to which a control signal from a microprocessor 14 is given via an input output pin 12, and is outputted to a driver 16 while matching the level with an input level of the driver 16, and with a monitor stage 22 in which a state of a load 18 driven by the driver 16 is detected, the result is fed back to the level shifter 20 and the microprocessor 14 via the input output pin 12 to form a circuit latching the logic level.
