Abstract:
PURPOSE: To predry or temporarily store individual or a large quantity of high moisture grain and particularly barley conveyed directly by a transport vehicle, etc., to a predetermined moisture by ventilation of heated air obtained by solar heat by easily installing a plurality of individual drying housings in a greenhouse.
CONSTITUTION: A laterally long drying housings 2 in each of which a moving truck 20 and an agitating and feeding mechanism 27 are so placed as to reciprocatingly move along a longitudinal direction are contained in a greenhouse 1. The housing 2 is partitioned to individual ventilation drying units 10, 10a, 10b having horizontal ventilation board is laid between a supply pit frame 8 and a discharge pit frame 5b and between the frame 5b and next discharge pit frame 5a by sequentially partitioning it by the one frame 8 and a plurality of the frames 5a, 5b with openable covers 6. A charging conveyor 21 and discharging conveyors 23, 24 are respectively connected to delivery end sides of the frame 8 and the frames 5a, 5b.
