Title:
PREFABRICATING METHOD FOR SHIP LIVING COMPARTMENT
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JPH0427691
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:

PURPOSE: To sharply reduce a building process of a ship by dividing a living compartment, except a lowermost layer, into a plurality of standard blocks, effecting total outfitting works of the blocks simultaneously with each other on a ground, completing manufacture of the living compartment except the lowermost layer, and joining it with a living compartment of a lowermost layer on a ship hull.

CONSTITUTION: A layer 3 comprising peripheral walls 1a and 1b and a ceiling 2 is divided approximately at a central part 4 of the peripheral wall 1b into two sections to form each section as one block. A stiffener 5 is mounted on each of the inner surfaces of the walls 1a and 1b of each block and a reinforcing beam 6 on the ceiling 2 to improve strength. After outfits, such as various piping, are mounted in a state to turn over each block 7, the connecting spots of the blocks 7 corresponding to each other are caused to butt against each other for welding. At each layer, decks 10-13, a sailing bridge 14, a wall part, a reinforcing material, and various outfits are interconnected from below by weld to complete a living compartment 15. Above works are effected on a ground simultaneously with the building work of a ship shell. After building of a lowermost layer 17 of a living compartment on a ship hull 16 is completed, the living compartment 15 is mounted and a connection part between the living compartment 15 and the lowermost layer 17 is connected.
