Abstract:
PURPOSE: To improve the shape of a preform, which is molded by injection molding and used for molding sheet, so as to enhance the strength of a cup-like container used for retorting food at the position near a gate.
CONSTITUTION: In a preform 10 for molding sheet, which is formed by injection molding, a projected part 12, the diameter at the skirt of which is larger than the diameter of a gate and the thickness of which is gradually reduced from the center of the curved surface having the gentle surface shape or of the stepped surface to the skirt part, is formed on the surface of the preform at the position opposite to the position of the gate 11.
