Abstract:
To provide a preform and plastic bottle production method that can prevent a heel part of a bottom part of a plastic bottle from becoming too thin after blow molding.SOLUTION: A preform 10 comprises a mouth part 11, a trunk part 20 connected to the mouth part 11, and a bottom part 30 connected to the trunk part 20. The thickest portions of the trunk part 20 and the bottom part 30 are positioned at most 5 mm above and below a first boundary part 26, which is a boundary between the trunk part 20 and the bottom part 30, in the direction of a central axis CL of the preform 10. The thickness of the trunk part 20 becomes thicker gradually from the mouth part 11 side to the thickest portion side.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
