Abstract:
To provide a preliminarily baked ferrite material which allows a ferrite sintered magnet having high magnet characteristics to be gained, and a method for manufacturing a ferrite sintered magnet by use of such a preliminarily baked ferrite material.SOLUTION: A preliminarily baked ferrite material comprises: a ferrite phase having an M-type magnetoplumbite structure of hexagonal crystal and containing metal elements of Ca, R, A, Fe and Co (R represents at least one kind of rare earth elements, inevitably including La, and A is Sr and/or Ba); and a spinel ferrite phase containing Co. The preliminarily baked ferrite material includes the ferrite phase of no less than 70 mass% and less than 100 mass%, and the spinel ferrite phase of over 0 mass% and no more than 30 mass%.SELECTED DRAWING: None
