CONSTITUTION: When the number of residual lines in the printing area 22a of a prepaid card 21a becomes '1', a message recommending updating processing is printed out on the final line. An updating processing date and the balance '0' yen are printed out on the final line of the printing area a 22a of the prepaid card 21a relating to the updating processing and the usable balance of the used prepaid card 21a is written in a new prepaid card 21b.
