PURPOSE: To obtain the titled extract, by treating an animal or vegetable raw material containing a medicinal component such as corbicula or Coicis Semen obtained by threshing adlay.

CONSTITUTION: An animal or vegetable raw material (e.g., corbicula, Coicis Semen, etc.) containing a medicinal component is mixed with mould protease or it and α-amylase in the presence of water in acidity (adjusted to 2W3pH by addition of organic acid), allowed to stand, the solution is made into a slight alkalinity, and blended with a sucrose fatty acid ester. The solution is then stirred, dispersed, concentrated at low temperature, to give an aqueous extract containing a large amount of an oily medicinal component, having improved dispersibility in gastric juice.
