PURPOSE: To obtain a method of preparing a coated steel sheet with superb corrosion inhibition and moldability which meets a guaranty about durability of at least, 30 years by using a specific undercoat and a specific intermediate coat consisting of a solid portion containing a specific vehicle as a main component when forming a coat using a fluororesin paint as a top coating.
CONSTITUTION: An undercoat paint is applied to a plated steel sheet, when an intermediate coat paint and a finishing paint are applied over each other, as a method of preparing a coated steel sheet. A coat is formed as a top coating using a fluororesin paint. In addition, when forming a coat of finishing paint using the fluororesin paint, the undercoat paint comprising a vehicle as a main component which contains 50 to 90wt.% of linear polyester resin as a solid with a hydroxyl group of 8 to 25mgKOH/g and 40 to 100 pts.wt. of pigment for 100 pts.wt. of vehicle solid portion, and the intermediate coat paint containing a vehicle composed mainly of (polyvinylidene fluoride) resin and thermally curable acrylic resin are used.
