Abstract:
To provide a method for efficiently preparing a composite material having an inorganic-organic hybrid film with a fine film quality without cracking, etc., which is free from a residual volatile component, wherein a sol-gel reaction is uniformly and rapidly carried out in the entire reaction system.
When forming an inorganic-organic hybrid film on a material surface through a sol-gel reaction, a solution containing an inorganic oxide, an organic component and a catalyst and/or a functional additive comprising a microwave-sensitive substance, is attached to the coated material. Then, the solution is allowed to react through microwave irradiation.
