PURPOSE: To prepare a feed pellet having a high nitritive value, by mixing a bean- curd refuse which is previously subjected to the preserving treatment with a grain husk, dyring the mixture and pelletizing the dried mixture.

CONSTITUTION: A preservative, e.g. an alcohol or hydrogen peroxide, and a water- soluble antioxidant are added to preserve a bean-curd refuse. 40W60pts.wt. resultant bean-curd refuse in then mixed with 60W40pts.wt. grain husk having a grain size ≥40 mesh, apparent specific gravity ≤0.3 and rough fiber content ≥8%. The resultant mixture is then dried to give a moisture content of about 15% and pelletized by a pelletizing machine. According to the method, the drying time can be reduced greatly to give a feed pellet having improved keeping quality.
