Abstract:
To provide a microbial oil stabler than a conventional polyunsaturated fatty acid-containing oil isolated from a microorganism biomass.
The method for obtaining at least one kind of the polyunsaturated fatty acid-containing oil comprises the following (a) to (d): (a) feeding the microbial biomass giving a dry matter content of from 25 to 80%; (b) granulating the biomass to granules; (c) drying the granules to afford dried granules; and (d) extracting or separating the oil from the dried granules.
