Abstract:

PURPOSE: To prepare a uniform and perfect multilayer carbon-plastic electrode, by providing a pin having a specific shape to the flow passage of each resin before the resin thermally melted in a feed block is laminated.

CONSTITUTION: A pin 26 having a trapezoidal recessed part wherein a bottom side is turned to the flow passage and the length ratio of an upper side and the bottom side is 1 : 3W4 and a pin 28 having a rectangular notch formed so as to turn the long side to the flow passage and to set the ratio of the depth and long side thereof to 1 : 9W1 : 12 are inserted in and arranged to the molten resin flow passages 20a, 22a in a feed block 8. By the use of this feed block, the thermally molten resins extruded by a plurality of extruders 1, 4 are brought to specific flow patterns by the pins 26, 28 provided to the resin flow passages before met with each other in the feed block and, when both resins are met in this state to be cast by a T-die 12 and taken out from a roll 14, a sheet like electrode uniformly laminated is obtained.
