Abstract:

To provide a polyimide porous film having high permeability and its preparation process.

A polyimide phase and a pore phase have a network structure and forms fine continuous pores inside the polyimide porous film and have a porous structure on both the surfaces of the film. Gurley number of this polyimide porous film is not more than 200 s/100 mL. In the preparation process of this polyimide porous film, a polymer component is precipitated from an organic solvent solution of polyimide or a polyimide precursor whose limiting viscosity number is not less than 2.2 by solvent substitution-induced viscoelasticity phase separation and, then, is made porous.
