PURPOSE: To prepare sandwiches simply and use it in a fresh state for food, by introducing a slice of bread and an ingredient separately into a container having plural containing recesses formed by a foldable partition wall, and folding the container to integrate the bread with the ingredient.

CONSTITUTION: A container 1 has two containing recesses 2 and 3 formed by a partition wall 4 foldable at the top 5 thereof. A slice of bread and an ingredient are separately introduced into the containing recesses 2 and 3, and the container 1 is then folded at eating to integrate the bread with the ingredient. Another slice of bread is further laminated on the ingredient to give a sandwich. A combined container 6 having recesses 8 and 9 deeper than those of the container 1 is used to contain an adequate number of slices of bread and several kinds of ingredients and packaged for sale.
